This experience provides a sample of everything Tasmania has to offer – exceptional scenery, award winning wine and precious wildlife. The experience commences by travelling to the summit of Mt Wellington 1271 metres (just over 4000 feet) above the city of Hobart. Mt Wellington is officially known as Kunanyi. On arrival at the summit you will have the opportunity to capture some spectacular panoramic views over southern Tasmania. Next stop is Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary a sanctuary for Tasmanian wildlife. Your chance to come closer than ever to something wild and fragile. As soon as you walk through the old wooden gate you’ll realise you’ve come to a place where animals are deeply cared for and you become part of an inspiring conservation story. At Bonorong you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Tasmanian Devil, and stroll the sanctuary feeding Kangaroos.

Final stop is Domaine Simha for a wine & cheese tasting. Domaine Simha’s cellar door is situated within the Brooke Street Pier ferry terminal overlooking the beautiful harbour of Hobart. Domaine Simha was founded at the edge of the world by Nav Singh and Louise Radman. An avant-garde approach shapes living wine relying on ancient knowledge and intuition.

First stop on tour is at Coal River Farm Tasmania’s hub of handmade cheese, chocolate and farm grown berries and fruit. On arrival you will be provided with a brief history and the philosophy of the business.

Next stop on the tour is Frogmore Creek Wines for our first tasting of the morning. One of Tasmania’s most awarded wineries, proudly family owned, Frogmore Creek sources grapes from the finest cool climate regions in Tasmania. Frogmore Creek also produces Forty-Two Degrees South and the Storm Bay wines. Distributing exceptional quality wines from the finest Tasmanian regions across all states of Australia, South East Asia and America.

Next stop just a few minutes down the road is at Riversdale Estate for a wine tasting. The Estate family are the sixth generation to work and cultivate and have a love of the land. The Estate includes cropping and sheep, and of course the largest Tasmanian privately owned vineyard in the Coal River Valley. The gentle undulating land to the waterfront providing a unique maritime influence and microclimate and an ideal environment for the viticulture and agricultural enterprises. The unique location has all the characteristics needed to create award winning wines. The magnificent views, European interiors, Cellar Door, and superb French Restaurant have been carefully designed to give you a warm and unforgettable experience and a piece of Tasmania’s hidden brilliance.

The final stop on the tour takes us back to Hobart’s waterfront to Domaine Simha for a wine & cheese tasting.
